Our Healing Garden plan is coming together! We are so eager to break ground and complete the landscaping out at the Angel Memorial Plaza. Since this project began, many people have contacted us about buying trees for the garden. Since there are a limited number of trees that will be available, we’ve decided that it would be fair to everyone to hold a lottery for those interested in sponsoring the trees.

Drawing will be on MAY 1.
We will have a total of 10 trees planted at the memorial, and the whole area will be surrounded by garden beds. Individuals will be able to sponsor a tree (starting 5/1/12 by lottery only) or sponsor a portion of the garden (available now). Engraved stones will be created and placed into the garden with your dedication written on them. Details about the engraved stones will be available soon.
The Parker Public Works Department has created a landscaping plan for us, and after having the soil analyzed, they have come up with a list of trees and plantings that will do well out there. This list is subject to change based on availability and the direction from the town’s horticulturist.
- 3 Cleveland Select Pears
- 3 Bristlecone Pines
- 2 Hawthornes
- 2 additional Conifers (likely firs)
Please consider making a donation to support this project. We need to raise $15,000 to complete the garden installation.

(Please do not make payments at this time.)
You can donate on your own, or share the dedication with a friend.
NOTE: If you prefer not to make a lump sum payment, you will have the option to set up automatic monthly payments (minimum $50 a month) through our donation portal. Because engraving will be done for all sponsorships, these donations are nonrefundable.
SPONSORS: Please understand that by becoming a sponsor, you are making a donation and receiving an engraved memorial in the garden. Individuals will not be permitted to plant anything in the beds or otherwise decorate the garden with personal items. The Town of Parker has graciously allowed our memorial to be placed in the park and we have been given the mandate to maintain the garden according to the planned specifications.
